Email Signature Generator

Build a bilingual email signature block that complies with IMS 6001-1-4, pre-filled from your unit's details.

About you

Enter your email address and pick your organization. Everything else fills in, and stays editable.

This tool follows IMS 6001-1-4, Email Signature Blocks. The standard itself is published on the Defence network; the link explains what it requires.

Your name is read from this. A cadet address switches the rank list to cadet ranks.

Navy League Cadet Corps are not listed — they run outside the CJCR chain of command, so IMS 6001-1-4 does not apply to them.

Your position

Pick the closest match, or type your own. Titles must be un-abbreviated (IMS 6001-1-4, para 3.7).

Which organization do you belong to?

Contact details

All optional. Telephone numbers include the area code, e.g. 613-999-1234.

Which address appears first?

Options

IMS 6001-1-4 paragraphs 3.14 and 3.15 limit signature blocks to the elements listed in the standard. Website links and other addenda need approval from your L1, commander of command or commander of formation, through your L1 information management officer.

Fine-tune the exact wording

Filled in from your organization and the standard. Change these only if yours differs.
